Violist Rozanna Weinberger Is Busy with a Mission

Violist Rozanna Weinberger was asked to speak about her career as a “violist with a mission” at the Juilliard School in New York this week. This weekend, she’ll switch hats to her violin-dealing business as she runs a booth for her violin shop during the New York Viola Society’s Viola and Bow Show.

Students attending the Juilliard talk will hear Weinberger speak about her career as artist and entrepreneur, and how to balance the two while building something of value and holding tight to your dreams. Held Sunday, April 15, the NYVS is hosting an event bringing together some of the East Coast’s best bow and viola makers (including Geoffrey Ovington, Guy Rabut, Charles Rufino, William Salchow and Sons, and Jason Viseltear) and dealers (Rozanna’s Violins, Long Island Violin Shop, and more). Admission to the Viola and Bow Show is free, though ID is required to enter the building.
