Violinist Jaime Laredo Named as American Academy of Arts and Letters Fellows

Honor goes to violinist and Columbia University composition professor Fred Lerdahl

Violinist Jaime Laredo and Columbia University composition professor Fred Lerdahl have been named fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Lerdahl has also received support from the National Endowment for the Arts to record his String Quartets Nos.1, 2, and 3 with the Daedalus Quartet.
