Tchaikovsky Competition 2011 Draws Near

Competitors include 27 violinists and 25 cellists

Moscow and St. Petersburg will be the sites of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition, which has attracted 27 violinists and 25 cellists among those competing June 14–July 2 for prestige and performance opportunities. Representing the United States in the quadrennial competition will be violinists Nigel Armstrong, Fabiola Kim, Tessa Lark, Eric Silberger, and Nancy Zhou, and cellists Jacqueline Choi, Anna Maria Litvinenko, David Joshua Roman, and Matthew Zalkind. tchaikovsky-competition.com
