‘Strings’ Announces Starling-DeLay Symposium Blogger

Violinist and multimedalist Marié Rossano has been named one of the ten violinists selected for the 2011 Starling-DeLay Symposium from May 31 to June 4 at the Juilliard School. Rossano will be sharing her experience at AllThingsStringsCommunity.com. During the master classes, recitals, lectures, and pedagogy sessions, she’ll receive coaching from legendary violinists Itzhak Perlman, New York Philharmonic concertmaster Glenn Dicterow, the Juilliard String Quartet’s Joseph Lin, the Curtis Institute’s Ida Kavafian, the Hartt School’s Teri Einfeldt, and many more. Rossano has been featured as a guest soloist by the Seattle Symphony, Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, and Northwest Sinfonietta, among others, and she’s studying with Kavafian in the fall.
