Panel discussion opens Carnegie Hall’s Spring for Music Festival
New York–based radio classical radio station WQXR will host the roundtable discussion “American Orchestras: An Endangered Species?” on May 3, 7pm est, at the Greene Space in conjunction with Carnegie Hall’s Spring for Music Festival May 6–14. Sitting on the panel will be Detroit Symphony Orchestra president Anne Parsons, Brooklyn Philharmonic artistic director Alan Pierson, the Knights co-artistic director Eric Jacobson, New England Conservatory president Tony Woodcock, and WQXR vice president Graham Parker. wnyc.org
