Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Names Artistic Directors
The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has named David Finckel and Wu Han as artistic directors, following an extensive international search. Finckel, the cellist in the Emerson Quartet, and his wife, pianist Wu Han, will present their first programmed season in 2006–2007, replacing David Shifrin. . . . The Honolulu Symphony has appointed maestro JoAnn Falletta as artistic advisor. Falletta will provide overall artistic guidance and direction as the Honolulu Symphony plans its upcoming 2005–2006 and 2006–2007 seasons.
