Filling in its Kaplan line of orchestral strings, D’Addario has released its Kaplan Orchestral Bass Strings. Optimized for orchestral playing, the Kaplan line is defined by warm, rich sound and easy bowing response. Kaplan’s bass strings feature a stranded steel core with titanium winding on the G string, nickel windings on the D and A strings, and tungsten winding on the E string.
