Andy Carlson
Fiddler and violinist Andy Carlson began learning fiddle tunes from his grandfather, Earl Murphy. He was twice named Georgia State Champion Fiddler and was the 2000 Ohio Grand Champion Fiddler. He is an associate professor of music at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he heads the school’s bluegrass program.
