Blast Cult One4Five Bass
Road-ready laminated upright basses
Named for a popular chord progression, the Blast Cult One4Five is the first upright bass from the new company founded by noted Orange County bass maker Jason Burns. Whether you choose wild or more traditional-looking finishes, Burns builds these basses to withstand the rigors of touring with an exceptionally sturdy laminated maple body. The One4Five also makes extensive use of a sustainable, “warmer-sounding” ebony alternative that the company calls “swamp skunk,” used for the fingerboard, nut, tailpiece, and endpin. And as the picture might suggest, these basses are highly customizable with finishes, custom woodworking, and electronics.
