British filmmaker Tim Meara didn’t know when he began shooting footage for his new film that it was to be a movie about music, politics, and highly guarded secrets. In the beginning, the film that would become In Search of the Messiah was supposed to about the connection between the world’s best musicians and the priceless musical instruments they often play.
