Musafia Aeternum violin case
At the annual Mondomusica festival in Cremona, Italy, this past October, luxury violin case maker Dimitri Musafia unveiled the fourth evolution of the Musafia Aeternum. The case’s straight sides and rounded corners are classically elegant, where the updated internals offer massive protection and an interior as plush and well appointed as a Maserati. The Series 4 case centers the violin for more protection, while slanting it within the case to keep the size (and weight) down, which helps maintain lots of room for accessories. The scroll area is armored with a frame for this vulnerable portion of your violin, while the area is detailed with cherry burl wood. The case also now includes an “anti-intrusion” bottom panel to guard against piercing. As with all of Musafia’s cases, the Aeternum has an extensive options list, for customizing the case to your needs. The Aeternum is also available for violas and is made to measure.
