Playing ancient music can optimize learning in the modern classroom
With school budgets growing ever tighter and music directors struggling to find resources for existing programs, founding a new Baroque ensemble, at first glance, seems impractical. But introducing a Baroque program, in addition to providing unique lessons and musical opportunities, may improve the overall musicianship of those music groups already in place as well.
