Music + One Software

Music + One software nurtures your soloing ability

Oh, to play in front of an orchestra! To play solo in front of an orchestra is the dream of many string players—it’s the reason many players enter concerto competitions and are motivated to spend countless hours in a practice room. Few will be so fortunate as to play in front of an orchestra, but a new software program, Music + One, offers orchestral backing tracks with which you can practice and perform as a soloist.

I had the chance to test Music + One and think it is a fantastic and sophisticated tool. It was able to follow the nuances of my interpretation after just one rehearsal. It gives the most realistic possible experience of playing with an orchestra without hiring your own ensemble.

It's been a miracle to me that I found Mr. Raphael who generously gave me the prototype of Music Plus One about 5 years ago. I also enjoyed working together with him on the program from the performer's side. As a professional violinist who studied computers for few years I have a double admiration for him: for the mastering of the Oboe, which I consider the hardest wind instrument and for the titanic work put together to achieve this extraordinary result. What an invention! A genius mind!

I think that this program can be used not only for training purposes in schools but can one day be brought in the concert halls. I hope to be the first one who will accomplish this.

An amazing learning experience and very easy to use. I used the program for my recital several times (Sebelius Violin Concerto and Brahms Violin Concerto). I am confident that this is changing the history. highly recommend this to everyone!
