All That Glitters: Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold Violin Strings
Company’s latest synthetic-core strings set a new gold standard
Long a favorite of violinists, Pirastro’s Evah Pirazzi strings have been something of a gold standard for violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists using synthetic-core strings. The line now expands with the addition of the new Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold violin strings. While sharing the same exclusive synthetic core-material Pirastro uses for its Obligato, Violino, and Evah Pirazzi lines, the Golds are unique in that they feature different windings and construction than the normal EP strings.
The Gold medium-gauge strings are available in two sets for a full-size violin, with either a G string wound with silver or gold.
