Negri Lord Violin Case

If you’ve had trouble finding one of Negri’s leather-covered luxury cases in the past, you’ll be able to find them more easily now thanks to wider US distribution by Eastman Strings. The sample case, a classic English-style model humbly called Lord, starts with a six-ply wooden shell. The black leather cover is thick and supple with sturdy YKK zippers, a padded back, exterior music pocket, and an over-sized leather handle. Inside, the instrument cradle is not too tight, with suspension pads that hold the instrument safely in place at the neck and end blocks. Decorative features include microfiber suede lining (even the string tube is covered), mahogany trim, sturdy chrome-plated hardware, and a nicely turned wooden knob to open the single, large accessory compartment.

To locate a dealer near you, contact Ruben Salazar,rsalazar@eastmanstrings.com.

Negri Lord Violin Case features:

  • Made in Argentina
  • Choice of Cordura or leather cover
  • Blue or olive interior
  • Two leather carrying straps

Negri Lord Cordura violin case, $776 (MSRP); Negri Lord leather violin case, $1,400 (MSRP)
