Jaeger Gewa Cases

np_jaeger-gewa-cases

“If you are looking for a case built like a tank, go for an original Jaeger Gewa shaped violin case,” one violinist advises another in a chat forum. “The one that I have is still like new, 20 years old and still in great shape.” Where could he could buy one?

The answer: “Try eBay.”

But these classic, long-lasting, lightweight cases are available once again as the Original Jaeger Prestige Line. The case is still made using Gewa’s patented Thermo shell, a tough, rigid shell with an insulating layer; quality fittings; close-fitting canvas covers; and handsome, plush-velvet interiors. The new model incorporates a few safety updates such as rain flaps over the zippers and suspension interiors. The deluxe model is covered in calf leather with an optional canvas cover.

• Thermo shell construction
• Soft-Tex brown canvas exterior
• Backpack straps
• Shaped case: two bow spinners, weighs 5 lb. 1 oz.
• Oblong case: four bow spinners, weighs 6 lb. 3 oz.
• Viola cases custom-made to measure: $3,240
• Prices available upon request
