The shell is made of textured ABS (think automobile bumpers) and comes with all the usual BAM amenities—watertight seal, high-resilience interior suspension system, scroll and neck straps, quality latches, and BAM’s comfortable, nonslip neoprene backpack straps. At 11.9 lbs. (without wheels), it’s not the lightest case on the market, but it is a solid and affordable investment.
