Brompton’s Sells Stellar Baroque Bow Collection
Brompton’s auction house June 21 sale included a special collection of more than 30 bows made in England between 1730 and 1890. The collection, formed by Otto and Trude Huttenbach, two active figures in England’s early music scene after their immigration from Hitler’s Germany in the late ’30s, included bows from almost every member of the Dodd and Tubbs families.
